International project coordinator H/F
In line with Secours Catholique's mission and pedagogy, and its national and international guidelines, Secours Catholique-Caritas France supports the actions of a network of partners (Caritas, Church institutions and civil society organizations) in the Middle East and North Africa (MONA) zone.
The MENA desk is developing a cooperation project with five associative partners from four countries in the Middle East: Lebanon - House of Peace, Egypt - Etijah & Stars, Jordan - Caritas Jordanie and Palestine - Palestinian Amputees Football Association and the FSGT, a popular sports federation in France: Empowerment of vulnerable populations through access to emancipatory sports practices. This project is co-financed by AFD.
The overall aim of the project is to contribute to the democratization of emancipatory physical and sporting activities for all. Four specific objectives should contribute to this aim:
- Contribute to the empowerment of activity participants;
- Training sports leaders for all;
- Develop access to quality sporting activities for people who are farthest from practicing: women, refugees and people with disabilities;
- Create a network for exchanging practices at local, national and international level.
